Fearless Records has announced the tracklisting for the next of their Punk Goes series. Punk Goes Classic Rock will feature classic songs we first listened to (and some still do), with a new age touch! It’s hard to believe that it has been ten years since Silverstein (Burlington,ON) released their first EP “Summers Stellar Gaze”. To celebrate their ten year anniversary, Silverstein will be playing four consecutive shows in Toronto at the El Mocambo. At each show they will play one of their full length albums – all the way through – as well as rare songs, and crowd requests. These shows will be held on March 18th-21st.

IN CANADA, apparently you never want to be the car behind one that’s being chased by police. You also apparently should never piss off a Canadian cop. UK Hardcore band, Your Demise was just minutes away from the American border, when they recieved a rude awakening from the OPP.
As we headed our back into America from Canada, we decided to head to Tim Horton’s for the last time before we entered the states.
Shortly after leaving, everyone was full of bagels and coffee, drifting of to sleep, our rest was interrupted by the sound of 3 Canadian Police Cars. Sirens blasting, we pulled over completely baffled as to why we were being stopped as we had done nothing wrong.
So we stopped at the side of the free-way to the sound of, ‘Driver, get out of the car now’, at this point we had no clue what was going on. So Danny gets out and they tell him to stick his hands up and turn around, walk toward the car, we then saw a Policeman stick a gun in Danny’s back and drag him to the car, handcuff him and put him the back of the Police car. So now mental stuff was going through our heads. Next they shouted for the passenger (Pumpjack) to get out, Same thing, GUN, HANDCUFFS, CAR BONNET!.
We started to giggle nervously and heard, ‘All of you , Get out’, so we got out and we were told to put our hands in the air and get down on our knees, the whole time, we were held at gunpoint by 2 Scumbags.
So we get out in the freezing snow, on the ground and the cop starts to search the van, I mean it was like 24 Jack Bauer shit.
It soon became clear that they had the wrong people and found it to be a bit of a misunderstanding. So it turns out the car in front of us, the driver had just shot someone, and we had basically just missed it happen. The Police were responding to it and thought it was us, when in theory they got the wrong car/van.
So an eventful last night in Canada

Barker’s Back – Travis Barker’s anticipated solo record with various artists
Travis Barker is back on our radar with yet another hard-hitting side project. Ever since the announcement of his debut as a solo artist, Blink 182’s drummer has prepared to hit the studio with a range of acclaimed artists in a variety of genres.
Barker’s highly anticipated upcoming album has a winning all-star line-up featuring guest appearances from Lil’ Wayne, Swizz Beatz, The Game, and now, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. In a recent interview with Spinner Magazine Travis explains the records diverse genre; “I just love music, so with my album it’s no one genre.” He goes on to say that the album will cover everything including punk rock, hip-hop, electro, and metal.
The record will be Barker’s first full-length LP produced entirely on his own, and keeping in mind his past success on other artists’ co-produced albums and his own various independent remixes, we have nothing but high expectations. Although no official release date for Barker’s anticipated LP has been announced, we know that when this record drops, it’s gonna be explosive.
